ICF Housing Development in the North East
Polarwall was used to construct 14 affordable homes for Housing Hartlepool in a £1.3 million development in the North East. The completed properties were officially handed over in April 2008 as part of the organisation's wider homebuilding programme.
The homes were built to a high environmental standard and achieved Level 3 under the Code for Sustainable Homes. The project marked another important social housing development completed using the Polarwall insulated concrete formwork system.
The site was officially opened by the town's MP, Iain Wright, who highlighted the local demand for affordable housing and welcomed the addition of the new properties in Hartlepool.
