RSC Training Highlights October IPAF, PASMA and Workplace Safety Training Courses

16-10-2026

RSC Training has announced its October 2026 programme of IPAF, PASMA and workplace safety courses, alongside updates on its recent industry activities and specialist instructor training.

Operating from training centres in Thamesmead and Soham, RSC Training supports businesses with accredited training for working at height, access equipment and workplace first aid.

IPAF and PASMA Training Courses in October

RSC Training's October programme includes a range of courses designed to help businesses improve workplace safety and ensure employees receive appropriate equipment training.

Courses include:

  • IPAF Operator Training (3a, 3b and 1b) for mobile elevating work platforms.

  • IPAF Harness Training for safe harness use.

  • PASMA Towers for Users covering mobile access tower safety.

  • Ladder User and Inspection Training for safe ladder use and inspection procedures.

Training is available at scheduled dates throughout October, with the option to arrange closed courses at customer premises.

Businesses can check availability through the updated RSC Training course calendar.

Ladder and Stepladder Safety Training at Soham

RSC Training scheduled a Ladder Association Ladder User and Inspection course at its Soham centre for 15 October 2026.

The course covers legal requirements, relevant safety standards, appropriate ladder selection, safe use, hazard identification and inspection procedures.

Delegates also undertake practical training and assessments, working towards a Ladder Association recognised qualification.

Emergency First Aid at Work Training

RSC Training also provides Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training for businesses requiring designated workplace first aiders.

The one-day course is particularly suitable for lower-risk workplaces, including offices, retail premises and hospitality businesses.

The qualification is valid for three years and provides essential knowledge for responding to workplace medical emergencies.

Further information is available on the Emergency First Aid at Work course page.

Bromley Business Show and PASMA Specialist Training

RSC Training recently attended the Bromley Business Show 2026, meeting local businesses and discussing workplace training requirements.

The event provided an opportunity to introduce the company's services and highlight the importance of understanding different access equipment categories.

The company also celebrated a professional development achievement, with instructor Richard completing the PASMA Access Tower Specialist (ATS) course at the Test & Research Centre in Soham.

The specialist training included practical work involving a 14-metre access tower. RSC Training has published a review of the ATS course.
