RSC Training Expands Course Portfolio with New Safety Training Programmes

01-07-2026

RSC Training has expanded its range of accredited workplace safety courses with the introduction of City & Guilds Confined Space Training and the IPAF MEWP Spotter course, alongside a full programme of IPAF, PASMA and ladder safety training throughout July.

The new Medium Risk Confined Space course provides delegates with a comprehensive understanding of legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work, together with practical training using Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA) and confined space equipment. Successful candidates receive a nationally recognised qualification valid for three years, while shorter low-risk courses are also available.

RSC Training has also added the IPAF MEWP Spotter course to its portfolio. This half-day eLearning programme is designed for anyone responsible for assisting Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operators, covering safe positioning, communication and recognised hand signals. Delegates receive an internationally recognised certificate valid for five years.

Alongside these new additions, RSC Training continues to deliver a wide range of accredited courses from its training centres in Thamesmead and Soham, including IPAF Operator, IPAF Harness, PASMA Towers for Users, PASMA Combined and Ladder Safety training.

For organisations requiring greater flexibility, RSC Training also provides on-site training across the UK and can supply the necessary access equipment where required, helping businesses reduce costs while training employees in their own working environment.
