RSC Training Expands April Course Offering with New MEWP Spotter Programme and Advanced PASMA Training

01-04-2026

RSC Training has unveiled its April 2026 training schedule, featuring a wide range of accredited courses alongside the introduction of a new industry-recognised programme and specialist PASMA training opportunities.

With increasing demand for skilled professionals working at height, the latest update highlights flexible training options across both Thamesmead and Soham, as well as nationwide on-site delivery.

Comprehensive April Training Schedule

RSC Training continues to deliver a full programme of IPAF and PASMA courses throughout April, supporting individuals and businesses across construction, maintenance, and industrial sectors.

Courses running at the Thamesmead centre include:

  • IPAF 3a / 3b / 1b Operator training across multiple dates
  • Daily IPAF Harness training
  • Combined IPAF/PASMA courses on 11th and 25th April
  • PASMA Towers for Users on 10th, 11th and 25th April
  • PASMA Towers on Stairs on 30th April

At the Soham centre, available courses include:

  • IPAF 3a / 3b Operator training on selected dates
  • Daily IPAF Harness training
  • PASMA Towers for Users on 24th April
  • PASMA Combined course on 27th April
  • Specialist PASMA Linked Towers and Large Decked Towers courses on 28th and 29th April

Additional dates and bespoke training options are also available, with on-site courses offered to suit operational requirements.

Rare Advanced PASMA Training Opportunities

A key highlight this month is the availability of advanced PASMA courses at the Soham training centre. Covering Linked Towers and Large Decked Towers, these courses are rarely run and provide an opportunity for candidates to enhance their qualifications and broaden their expertise.

Participants must hold relevant PASMA certification to enrol, making these courses particularly valuable for experienced operatives looking to upskill.

New MEWP Spotter Course Enhances Site Safety

April also sees the introduction of the new MEWP Spotter course, developed by IPAF. This online training programme, lasting approximately two and a half hours, is designed to support those assisting Mobile Elevating Work Platform operators.

The course focuses on:

  • Clear communication between operators and spotters
  • Recognised hand signalling methods
  • Identifying hazards in restricted visibility conditions

By introducing trained spotters to worksites, businesses can improve safety standards and reduce operational risks.

Flexible On-Site Ladder Training Nationwide

RSC Training continues to offer on-site ladder training across the UK, providing businesses with a convenient and efficient way to train staff at their own premises.

With a nationwide network of experienced instructors, courses can be tailored to suit site-specific requirements, provided suitable facilities are available for both practical and theoretical elements.

New WhatsApp Channel for Instant Updates

To improve communication and accessibility, RSC Training has launched a dedicated WhatsApp channel. This new platform allows customers to stay up to date with course availability, industry developments, and training opportunities in real time.

Supporting Industry Training and Compliance

RSC Training’s April update reflects its continued commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible training solutions that support safe working at height.

With a mix of core qualifications, advanced PASMA courses, and new industry-led programmes, the company remains well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of businesses across the UK.
