Envirogard's Maxi Quad decontaminating shower systems are close to the maximum permitted length for road-tow trailers, but their relatively lightweight and axle configuration makes them highly manoeuvrable. At the same time trailer weight has been kept within 1900kgs (1500kgs for the Maxi Quad XL version), so they can be towed by many light commercial vans. Lockers for personal belongings are provided at high-level, with rails for hanging clothing below.

Power points are available for charging respirator battery packs. Thermostatic fan heaters maintain a comfortable temperature, while hot water for the shower systems is provided by a room-sealed balanced-flue LPG water heater; LPG is supplied from cylinders in an external locker. Electrical power

The requirement of the water heater is a clean supply of pressure between 1 bar and 6 bar; this can normally be achieved from a 15mm dia.
