Dustcontrol DC2000 Aircube Mobile Dust Filtration Unit

Fine airborne particles generated by construction and demolition activities can penetrate deep into the lung tissue and are therefore considered potentially hazardous. The DC2000 Aircube will capture coarse, medium and fine airborne dust particles.

It employs a large HEPA filter (located in the central core of the machine) which works in conjunction with pre-filters (contained in the removable black casing) to remove dust particles down to 0.3 micron diameter. Pre-filters can be removed and replaced simply by un-clipping the black filter housing. This equipment is portable and may be used: Freestanding as an air "scrubber", returning cleaned air to the room. For spot extraction - with the option for a "capture hood" connected with flexible ducting to the suction inlet of the DC2000.

To create a negative-pressure enclosure by extracting air from an enclosure and discharging through flexible ducting connected to the DC2000's discharge port. The principle of negative pressure containment is to generate an area at lower pressure than its surroundings - the surrounding (usually cleaner) air then infiltrates into the enclosure; this helps ensure airborne contaminants remain confined to one area.

The extracted air is removed by the air scrubber, filtered to remove particulates, before being discharged "clean" to the outside environment. The DC2000 is "roll-up, plug-in, and switch-on", with variable fan speed so it can be adjusted to suit the needs.
