About Us
Bamford Doors is a leading UK specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of high-performance security doors, screens and access control solutions for residential, public sector and commercial environments.
Based in Stockport, Cheshire, the company operates from a purpose-built 68,000 sq ft factory and has been supplying robust, custom-made entrance solutions across the UK for almost four decades. With roots in British engineering stretching back to 1903, Bamford combines long-established manufacturing expertise with modern security technology and a strong focus on quality, reliability and service.
Our product range includes aluminium modular security doors, thermally broken doors, wood-effect doors, GRP doors, HMO entrance doors, automatic operators, curtain walling and side screens, mailboxes and block address signage. Many of our solutions are designed specifically for demanding communal and public environments where security, durability and appearance all matter.
We also provide a complete range of supporting services, including door entry and access control systems, project management, preventative maintenance packages, stock condition surveys, warranties and resident involvement. By working closely with specialist access control manufacturers, we can provide complete bespoke entrance and security packages tailored to the needs of each site.
Bamford Doors works with local authorities, housing associations, schools, NHS organisations, student accommodation providers, landlords and other organisations throughout the UK. From initial specification and design through to manufacture, installation and ongoing maintenance, our aim is to make every project straightforward, professionally managed and built around the customer.
Today, Bamford Doors remains a family-led British engineering business, combining decades of experience with continued investment in products, people and service. Whether the requirement is for a single secure entrance or a large-scale programme across multiple properties, we have the experience, manufacturing capability and technical knowledge to deliver.
