Project description

Axis Entrance Systems supplied and installed large manual sliding doors for patient rooms at the new Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

The doors use a sliding mechanism featuring recirculating ball guides on a specialist low-resistance linear track supplied by Accuride Ltd. This design achieves a typical average operating force of less than 10N.

Specification

More than 200 Axis Flo-Motion® manual sliding double-glazed doors were installed.

The doors measure up to 1,800mm wide and 2,700mm high, include integral blinds and have a maximum operating force of 22N.
