Casement Window Fasteners

Outward opening hinged windows commonly use two types of fasteners. These are either a Wedge Plate fastener or a Mortice Plate fastener and these fasteners are positioned in a frame that is at right angles to the window, this can be a central mullion if there are double windows or the frame itself if there is a single window.
