Solvent Based Rigid Adhesive for Wood Block andEngineered Wood flooring

Full SurfaceBonding:

Traditional parquet blocks and engineered woodfloors, mosaic parquet, industrial parquet and end grained woodpaving on cement, anhydrite, and poured asphalt sub-floors

Can be used over underfloor heatinginstallations.

Mainly used on smoother Floors were littlebuild-up of adhesive is required

Floor may be walked on sanded and finishedapproximately 48 hours after installation depending on climaticconditions,

absorbency of subfloor and adhesive layerthickness etc.

ApplicationDetails:

For full surface bonding only. Ensure that thecontact faces of the wood elements are fully wetted withadhesive.

Coverage:

0.8 ? 1.2 kg/m2 depending upon size ofnotched trowel used and subfloor surface profile.

For the bonding of long or wide boards or incase of uneven substrates it could be necessary to use a notchedtrowel with bigger notches avoid hollow sections.

Important Note:

Sikabond 5500s can be used with a slightamount of bitumen residue on concrete floors but the more of thisthat is removed the better the Adhesion.
