SikaBond � 5500S is a single partcombination of synthetic resins contained in organicsolvents.

Full SurfaceBonding:

Traditional parquet blocks and engineered woodfloors, mosaic parquet, industrial parquet and end grained woodpaving on cement, anhydrite, and poured asphalt sub-floors

Can be used over underfloor heatinginstallations.

Mainly used on smoother Floors were littlebuild-up of adhesive is required

Also Very good for bonding down Plywood toexisting floors

Especially suited to wood block refurbishmentprojects where bitumen adhesive residues are present.

Floor may be walked on sanded and finishedapproximately 48 hours after installation depending on climaticconditions,

absorbency of subfloor and adhesive layerthickness etc.

ApplicationDetails:

For full surface bonding only. Ensure that thecontact faces of the wood elements are fully wetted withadhesive.

�

Coverage:

0.8 ? 1.2 kg/m2 depending upon size ofnotched trowel used and subfloor surface profile.

For the bonding of long or wide boards or incase of uneven substrates it could be necessary to use a notchedtrowel with bigger notches avoid hollow sections.

�

Important Note:

Sikabond 5500s can be used with a slight amountof bitumen residue on concrete floors but the more of this that isremoved the better the Adhesion.
