The Fiskars New X25 Axe has a ultra-sharpdouble hardened blade with an anti-friction coating for improvedcutting ground to a specific angle and isextremely sharp.

It is ideal for splitting logs with a diameterof 30cm thats 12 inche's.

Unlike most axes, the head on this one iscompletely encompassed by the handle, this eliminates thepossibility of the head flying off.

The handle is made from a specially developed,extremely tough material called FibreComp? which is virtuallyunbreakable.

The handle is also extremely light in weight, acombination that gives the user extra safety and more controlespecially when using for an extended time.

The bottom end of the handle lips forward,almost like a hook. This is to prevent the axe slipping out of yourhand when striking a blow.

Fiskars XsharpSharpener:

The Axe and KnifeSharpener acts as two sharpeners in one. This is an easy to usesharpener which uses ceramic discs to provide a clean, sharp bladeon a variety of gardening tools and hand tools, as well as knivesand scissors.

There are 2 settings: a wide groove for toolsand a narrow groove for knives and scissors.

How to Use the XsharpSharpener:

1 - Simply slide the orange end ofthe body to select the desired sharpening groove.

2 - To sharpen place the knife ortool with the closest end of the edge flush with the sharpener body(in the ?V? groove),

3 - Pull it back along the groovesmoothly and with a little downward pressure.

4 - Repeat this procedure 3 or 4times "more if the tool or knife is very blunt".
