EVERBUILD Mammoth PTFE non-adhesive gas tape.

Use with threaded fittings and compression joints on all types of natural gas and liquid carrying gas pipework pipes.

For use with BS 21 threads up to 2?.

BG C IM/16, BS6974: 1989 and BS5292 Type C tests.

Suitable for use with potable water.

Non Flammable (ASTM D-653 ? D470)

Limitations:

Do not use on pipes, which contain liquid oxygen or fluorine.

Do not use on pressure greater than 100bar.

Application:

Remove any grease dirt or metal shavings from threads.

Apply the PTFE tape on the joint following the inclination of the thread

overlap by � to � of the tape width (depending on thickness required).

Apply tape with an even firm tension to ensure tight fitting around the thread.
