LUMBERJACK 160 high specification, trowelapplied wood flooring adhesive based on a resin and solventblend,

Specifically designed for fixing all types ofwooden floors directly onto porous substrates.

Lumberjack 160Benefits:

Water free will not cause warpage or curl ofwood blocks and planks.

Rapid Setting, Floors may normally betrafficked 12-24 hours after application.

Will bond wood directly to all common poroussubfloors including concrete, wood and porous natural stonefloors.

Easy application by trowel.

High strength adhesive.

Suitable for use with underfloorheating.

ProductLimitations:

SOLVENT BASED PRODUCTS AREFLAMMABLE.

Keep away from sources of ignition.

Avoid inhalation of fumes and ensure goodventilation during use and after fixing until product is dry. Inconfined spaces use forced ventilation.

If any of the above are an issue use lumberjack 650 flooring adhesive.

Do not use against bitumen or substrates thatbleed oil or plasticizers.

This product is only suitable for directapplications to subfloors where humidity level is below 2.5%. Forapplications where humidity level is between 2.5 and 7%, always useLumberjack M.B Primer and screed over as directed. Never applywooden flooring under any circumstances where humidity level isabove 7% check with a moisture detector.

Surface Preparation:

The surfaces to be glued must be porous, sound,clean, dry and free from dust, grease and othercontaminants.�

Existing floors and chipboard must be free fromall polish and wax.�

New concrete must be allowed 4 weeks to dry andmature.

Always check moisture level ofsubfloor.

�

Moist Floors:

If moisture levels in subfloor are above thoserecommended by the flooring manufacturer, damp proof the floor withat least two coats of Lumberjack M.B Primer as directed.

then prime with EVERBUILD 501 PVA BOND diluted 1:3 PVA: to water andscreed with a minimum 3mm depth EVERBUILD SELF LEVEL FLEXI PLUS whilst primer istacky.

Under floorheating:

underfloor heating must be turned off 48 hoursbefore and 48 hours after the adhesive has been applied.

Non PorousSurfaces:

Not suitable for direct application. Prime 1:3to water: EVERBUILD PVA BOND and screed with a minimum 3mm depth ofEVERBUILD SELF LEVEL FLEXIPLUS whilst primer is tacky.� Allowto cure for 24 hours or until dry, whichever is longer then proceedas per porous surfaces.

Flooring:

The wood flooring MUST be acclimatised forseveral days in the room where it is to be installed. Leave inoriginal packaging during this period.

�

Application:

Open bucket and trowel onto floor.

Spread evenly with a suitable notched trowel atno less than 0.5kg/m� to 1.0Kg/m�.

Do not spread more adhesive than can be coveredwithin 10 to 15 minutes 1m� maximum.

Place planks or blocks into position whilstadhesive is still tacky within 10 minutes tap into final position with mallet and block,

Remove uncured adhesive with Wonder Wipes caution - test compatibility with lacquerfinished blocks wipes and adhesive first.

Floor may be sanded and trafficked 12-24 hoursafter application, depending on site conditions (longer at lowtemperatures).�

If subfloor has poor absorbency; allow 3 daysbefore sanding and trafficking

For full surface bonding only. Ensure that thecontact faces of the wood elements are fully wetted withadhesive.

�

Coverage:

0.5 to 1.0 kg Liter per m2 depending upon sizeof notched trowel used and subfloor surface profile.

For the bonding of long or wide boards or incase of uneven substrates it could be necessary to use a notchedtrowel with bigger notches avoid hollow sections.
