Euroscrim Do's andDon'ts.

Ensure surfaces are completely clean beforeapplying tape.

Never overlap the tape, always butt the jointor the joint will fail.

When applying jointing compound or plaster,ensure complete penetration through the tape to achieve optimumadhesion.

SurfacePreparation.

All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and freefrom oil, grease and dust.

�

Euro ScrimApplication.

Place tape into position and apply directly tojoint or crack pressing down firmly to ensure good adhesion. Forcrack and hole repairs, the tape must be extended at least 25mmfrom the edge of the area to be repaired, butting (neveroverlapping) the tape.

Once the tape is in position, cover withjointing compound or plaster, ensuring the plaster or jointingcompound penetrates the tape to achieve optimumadhesion.
