Deafgard is a battery powered, wire free, alert device that is simple to use and warns the deaf or hard of hearing if a fire alarm is sounding in a property. Deafgard is designed to listen for a continuous fire alarm of 75dBA or higher. when deafgard alarms it uses a vibrating pad, high intensity LED and a LCD screen displaying "fire".
