These reject Oak railway sleepers are particularly rustic or 'wonky' sleepers celebrating natural imperfections. Rounded or waney edges. Bows along the length. Cracks, or damage. Soft or crumbly sections or insect holes. Despite this litany of irregularities, they may be perfect for your project and will definitely help you save money. 

Like all 'green' or freshly cut landscaping railway sleepers they have been cut in the last 6 months and are still seasoning or drying out, as opposed to kiln dried furniture grade oak which is slowly heated in driers over weeks, and would require a second mortgage at the very least!
