Used African Azobe Grade 1 Railway Sleepers

Used African Azobe Grade 1 Railway Sleepers are probably the ultimate railway sleeper. They are a very durable, tight-grained tropical hardwood with brilliant longevity, and made from one of the hardest wood in the world. These reclaimed African Azobe railway sleepers are probably between 30 - 60 years old, depending on which section of railway line they came from in Europe. Some have been machine notched on one side to accept the attachment plate of the railway line.
