Ultra Tile Prime IT FP as an additive has been designed to give enhanced performance to the Ultra Tile adhesives and grouts that have not been previously polymer modified. The product increases bond strength and flexural performance whilst reducing water penetration. It is suitable for areas of substrate movement i.e. green screeds, boarded floors, underfl oor heating, porous and moisture sensitive substrates. Ultra Tile Prime IT FP can also be used as an acrylic surface conditioner. Ultra Tile Prime IT FP as a primer has been designed to be a universal priming/sealing agent. It is suitable for a variety of building substrates, including plaster, timber, brick and block work (i.e. porous surfaces).\nSurface Preparation\nEnsure that the surface of the substrate is clean, dry and firm. It should be free of dust, dirt, oil and grease or anyother contaminants. Please ensure that the surface is strong enough to support the weight of the tile and adhesive.\nMixing & Application\nAs a Primer: Ultra Tile Prime IT FP should be diluted in the approximate ratio 3 parts clean water to 1 part product, whenapplied to the surface of the substrate. Apply enough Ultra Tile Prime IT FP on the surface to create a translucent film.Note: On very porous substrates a 5 parts clean water to 1 part Prime IT FP dilution should be applied to the substrate first and allowed to dry.\nAs an additive: Use a mixture of 1 part Ultra Tile Prime IT FP to 1 part clean water or as indicated on the packaging of the product added to. This solution should then be added slowly to the adhesive powder until the required consistency is achieved.\nNote: The use of Ultra Tile Prime IT FP will slow the set rate of the adhesive.\nTechnical Date\nPackaging: 1ltr & 2.5ltrCoverage: One litre unit, mixed 3 parts water to 1 part Ultra Tile Prime IT FP, will cover up to 20m2 per coat depending on substrate porosity.Storage: Store in airtight containers between 5?C and 30?C. Protect from frost.Shelf Life: 12 Months in the above conditions
