For removing old natural and synthetic resin-based adhesives, paint and grouts/grout residue.\nSome application examples \n\nRemoving old adhesive from floors e. g. marble, ceramic tile, wood, concrete, cementitious levelling coats, metal, etc.\nRemoving old adhesive from ceramic tiles and mosaic, marble, concrete, wood, gypsum, metal, fibrous concrete, etc.?\nRemoving paint from the surface of metal, wood, concrete, etc.\nRemoving epoxy grouts and their residue from the surface of tiling and other substrates\n\nTecnical Characteristics\nPulicol 2000 is made from a mixture of unchlorinated solvents in gel form. It is easy to apply with a spatula or by brush and gives off very little odour. Since there is no methylene chloride in the composition, the product complies with EU regulation N? 276/2010 issued by the European Parliament and the European Council regulation of the 6th of May 2009 concerning restrictions on the marketing and use of methylene chloride.\nPulicol 2000 has high detachment capacity on films of resin-based adhesives and varnishes within just a few minutes of application.\nRecommendations\n\nDo not mix Pulicol 2000 with water.\nDo not use on substrates that can be damaged by solvents, e.g. certain plastics (rubber, PVC), surfaces treated with decorative enamel that are not resistant to solvents, or on varnished wood floors.\nDo not use Pulicol 2000 on baking paint because it would have little effect.\n\nApplication Procedure\nSpread Pulicol 2000 with a trowel or brush on the residues of adhesive or varnish which need to be removed. Wait 2-3 minutes, depending on the type of adhesive or varnish, and remove the Pulicol 2000 together with the adhesive or varnish with a smooth trowel or high-pressure hydro-cleaning unit.\nIf the surface is smooth with low absorbency e.g. marble or ceramic, rinse off with plenty of water.\nIf the surface is smooth and non-absorbent, e.g. marble or ceramic tile, wash it with a solution of caustic soda and rinse thoroughly with water. If the surface is rough and/or absorbent, e.g. cementitious screeds or scratch coats, remove the residue with sandpaper or a wire brush. Do not wash wood surfaces, sandpaper them only.?
