Chrome plated corner valve sets include a valve for the radiator inlet as well as a corner lockshield valve for balancing the central heating system. These valves are not thermostatic valves. The benefit of non thermostatic valves are that radiators being used as towel warmers will always be on, irrespective of room temperature, keeping towels warm whenever the central heating system is on.\nCorner valves are used when pipes come out of the wall?from which the radiators are fixed to. This is normally the preferred method and neatest way of plumbing towel warmers and bathroom radiators into a central heating system.\nThe thread can be switched to either side of the valve to suit any radiator set up. The valves?have 1/2 inch BSP compression and the internals are brass. Chrome plated valves match all polished stainless steel and polished chrome radiators.
