Monocrystalline Solar Panels
Monocrystalline panels are around 15-20% efficient. Monocrystalline silicon (c-Si): Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. Hence most c-Si panels have uncovered gaps at the four corners of the cells. Although monocrystalline cells are currently the most efficient at converting direct sunlight; for a given system size, low-light and direct sunlight outputs are comparable that of a polycrystalline system. However the area required would be considerably less due to their higher efficiency.Visit the Go Green Systems Ltd website for more information on Monocrystalline Solar Panels
