Our Toomebridge Depot scored a “first” in precast concrete engineering for construction industry use, with the cast-in textured liner to the inside of the 24 tonne, 3.2m high box culvert units which were installed in a major highways improvement scheme at Derry, Northern Ireland.
The 20 unique large sized box culvert units were installed to create a pedestrian underpass for the dual carriageway conversion scheme on the A2 highway in Northern Ireland which connect Derry City to the City of Derry Airport.
The cast-in liner provides a textured, graffiti resistant finish to the inside of the underpass without the need to install an additional textured liner panel.
