How a photovoltaic System Works

Sunlight is converted directly into current by solar modules. The direct current generated by the solar modules is then transformed by the power inverter to a 230V alternating current or a 400V three phase current. These can then feed the electrical consumer, which in most cases is an appliance in a house or commercial property. The power inverter works in the grid connected mode, this means that any current generated from sunlight can be fed into the public energy grid or used by the property owner.
