Elite Precast Concrete celebrates Apprenticeship Week and the next generation of talent
Elite Precast Concrete is proud to mark National Apprenticeship Week by recognising the achievements and commitment of three valued team members: Jessica Doody, Matthew Whistance and Agy Serafin.
Apprenticeships play a vital role in developing skills, building confidence and creating long-term career opportunities within construction and manufacturing, says Louise Chouhan-Hodges, Business Manager at Elite Precast Concrete. “At Elite Precast Concrete, investing in people is seen as just as important as investing in products and innovation, and National Apprenticeship Week is the perfect opportunity to highlight the positive impact of that commitment,” she said.
“Jessica, Matt and Agy have each shown dedication, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic since joining the business. Through their apprenticeships, they are gaining hands-on experience alongside formal training, allowing them to develop practical skills while contributing to live projects and day-to-day operations across the company.”
Jessica is completing a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship with Aston University. Matt is undertaking a Mineral Products Technical Level 5 Apprenticeship with the University of Derby. Agy, who won Telford Apprentice of the Year last October, is studying for an engineering apprenticeship with Telford College.
Their progress reflects Elite Precast Concrete’s belief that apprenticeships offer a strong route into the industry and help build a skilled, motivated workforce for the future. By supporting apprentices at every stage of their development, Elite continues to strengthen its teams while creating meaningful career opportunities within the precast concrete sector.
During National Apprenticeship Week, Elite Precast Concrete reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing emerging talent and encouraged more people to consider apprenticeships as a rewarding pathway into construction and manufacturing.
Elite Precast Concrete congratulates Jessica, Matt and Agy on their achievements so far and thanks them for the positive contribution they make to the business. Their journeys are a clear example of how apprenticeships can shape individual careers and support the future of the industry.
