About four and a half years ago we introduced, at that point, our newest generation of Baron portable conveyors, the CU and CCU series. The innovative functions in these were the capability to run in both directions, variable speed, and the ability to connect up to eight (8) conveyors in a series and control them all from one master conveyor. Before this, conveyors, in general, had two functions: power on, and power off.
That is also why the Baron conveyor is used and preferred all around the world - so far in 40 countries.
But it gets even better...
Imagine owning multiple conveyors, say twenty (20), and you need them to be out in the field working nonstop, moving that soil, rubble, and/or aggregates. The worst thing that could happen? Downtime! Downtime with all the consequences that follow. We know this from the feedback we got from users of conveyors.
That's why we've taken things to the next-next level by adding a built-in IoT module in all our conveyors. This IoT gives you the opportunity to, amongst many other things:
Get an alert if the conveyor is about to break down
Follow usage in hours, amps, and overload
Always know where your conveyor is located (GPS)
This means that even before the conveyor is done with one job and has to go to its next job, you can have a look at potential alerts and plan the maintenance of the conveyor in need, and not waste time going through every single conveyor. This ensures that you can save time on maintenance and not rent out a potentially faulty conveyor to a job - which costs you time and money.
Don't take our word for it. If you want to check out the Clever in CleverConveyor you can do that today with our CleverConveyor Demo environment on our webpage, which you can find here: https://www.baron-mixer.com/en/clever-conveyor-demo - It is free of charge, no registration required.
