VAT on New Swimming Pools?

All Outdoor pools are subject to the current rate of VAT. Some Indoor pools are exempt, primarily: a new private dwelling under construction with an integral pool, a new nursing home or retirement home, hospice, student hall or armed forces building under construction with an integral pool, a pool for use by a charity.
