Althon headwalls are manufactured using Eco1®, a low-carbon mix that replaces a significant proportion of cement with supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) such as GGBS.

Eco1® matches or exceeds the performance of traditional concrete. It retains CEM I standards while cutting cement content by 46% and achieves strengths of over 75 N/mm² at 28 days. It is fully compliant with BS 8500-2:2023, including Design Chemical Class 4 and Design Sulphate Class 4, making it suitable for even the most aggressive environments.
