First Aid Courses
Our programme consists of a one-day classroom based course, taught by our experienced Emergency First Response Instructor, Anthony Derbyshire. The course is known as Emergency First Response (EFR) and is taught worldwide as a professional first aid training course. The course covers the fundamentals of primary and secondary care and consists of a DVD and Instructor lead programme with practical demonstrations and participation, knowledge review, practice scenarios and a final written and practical exam. Classes are small (maximum of six participants) in order to maximise student learning and participation and ensure courses finish on time. Course work books are provided and are included in the course fee and certificates are issued on the day. Classes are run Monday to Friday, starting at 8:30 and finishing around 16:30 with a short lunch break at around 12:00 (lunch is not provided). Classes are undertaken at the Affordable Access site in Romsey, however our Instructor can conduct courses at an alternative location if requested in advance (fuel charges will be added to the final cost paid in advance). Courses will be booked upon receipt of final payment in advance. We require notification of any cancellations no less than fourteen days prior to the course date. No refund will be given after the fourteen day period has expired.Visit the Affordable Access Hire Ltd website for more information on First Aid Courses
