The Kirkpatrick 1145 Thumb Latch Black Antique is of a very plain and simple design, often known as a Suffolk Latch. The handle is fixed to a backplate which is 177mm x 38mm and is curved at the top and bottom to soften the design. It is a very traditional and functional design used for internal doors, but also seen externally, on outbuildings or full height side gates.
