Sheeting and netting turn a scaffold into a sail. The wind loads go up sharply and so do the forces on every tie. Calculations to EN 1991-1-4 take account of site location, height, exposure and the type of cladding used. Get it wrong and the scaffold can fail. Get it right and it stays put through the worst of the British weather.
