These locks are usually used in conjunction with Door Knobs. This zoo bathroom lock provides a deeper fixing for the handle into the door than standard dead locks or sashlocks. Please use a heavier sprung lock such as the imperial door lock version (G3011) This range is built from 3 lever designs and as such are ideal for internal doors. Originally, this type of horizontal mortice lock would have been key operated, however this modern variation on an old design allows for the use of a turn & release, whilst still maintaining the period feel and dimensions of an original lock. This Zoo bathroom lock, is operable by a turn & release with a standard 5mm Spindle. Zoo Architectural Hardware have created a great selection of ZUKH horizontal bathroom mortice locks.
