The hinge will provide excellent support to the gate as the top band and bottom strap wrap around the gate and are fixed with cup square bolts to fix firmly in place. The hook to bolt features a 9mm drilled hole for R clips or linch pins (not included) to be fitted to prevent the gate from being lifted off. Depending on the weight distribution of the gate the top or bottom pin can be mounted upside down to prevent unwanted removal of the gate. Although suitable for all customers, those in Scotland, Ireland and the South West will benefit most from the Galvanised finish, due to the susceptibility to high levels of corrosion in those areas.

The hooks to drive are barbed to prevent the gate from working loose.
