The From The Anvil Slim Style Suffolk Thumblatch is traditionally used on a ledge and braced door. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder-coated finish. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. When this lever is pressed down, it operates a thumb bar. Thumblatches are typically used in conjunction with a T hinge on traditional plank doors, suitable for a maximum door thickness of 45mm.
