Matt Black - They are forged from a base of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven to create a subtle, black patina. Satin Marine Stainless Steel (316) - This finish is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This refined finish is extremely versatile, with a distinctly contemporary feel that works especially well in modern interiors. This product is used on entrance doors to pull or push the door into the open/closed position. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. During the final stages of manufacturing, From The Anvil apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Pewter Patina - They are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. External Beeswax - This is manufactured using From The Anvil’s unique anti-corrosive beeswax. During the final stages of manufacturing, our Satin Brass products are brushed with a satin wheel to give them their distinctive appearance. The products are beautifully suited to listed, cottage and period properties because of their timeless appearance. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. Held in place by the rim cylinder which compresses with the night latch to tighten & fix. Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Much like their standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. Antique Pewter - This finish offers the same protection as Pewter Patina but has a solid Brass base rather than steel. A high-quality matt lacquer is then applied to their surface for protection. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Polished Nickel - These products are manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection.
