Please use a heavier sprung lock such as the imperial door lock version. This Horizontal Latch, is suitable for use with any of our sprung lever handle on rosette sets, or any of our sprung knob sets. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings and matching Strike Plate. Part of the From the Anvil collection, who carry a large range of matching window and door furniture to create a fully coordinated look around your home. These latches provide a deeper fixing for the handle into the door than dead locks or sash locks. Horizontal mortice locks and latches were more common before the introduction of lever handles. NOTE: NOT suitable for fitting with a heavy un-sprung door knob. Horizontal mortice locks and latches are often used to replace the old Victorian locks fitted in more period properties. (G3011).
