During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso. Aged Bronze - These products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Unlacquered Brass - They are made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues that offer a depth of reflection. Polished Chrome - These products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing.
