For complementary products, we recommend our Polished Chrome finish. Aged Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. From The Anvil designs are drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion of English blacksmithing. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. Polished Stainless Steel - is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. Aged Brass - Is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. Satin Stainless Steel  - Is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired. This natural finish is a far softer alternative to black powder coating. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. These door handles are available in both sprung and unsprung versions. Polished Bronze - Made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. External Beeswax - A signature of From The Anvil and is manufactured using our unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Pewter patina - Forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. Polished Chrome - Made from a base of solid brass coated with durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. The sprung handles have a strong spring incorporated into the boss and rose backplate and come with bolt through and wood screws, and will fit standard British latches. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion-resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. Much like our standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. It has different screw positions on the rose backplate and comes with wood screws only. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection and has an appropriate place in modern properties, but its warm tones also make it suitable for traditional settings.
