The Finesse Design Pewter Pelton Door Knob on Long Jesmond Backplate FD177 is hand made from genuine pewter. This backplate is available in four variations: Non-locking latch short backplate, non-locking latch long backplate, lock long backplate for doors with standard UK locks, or with a bathroom long backplate with turn & release for optional privacy.

These door knobs really highlight the natural beauty of pewter, and will give a great bespoke look and finish to your interior. This is to allow space between the door knob and door jamb to turn the door knob with the hand. The Pelton range of solid pewter door hardware is similar in design to the original Finesse Beamish range of door knobs. We recommend our double sprung latches for use with this knob, ideally at sizes of either 102mm (4''), 128mm (5'') or 152mm (6"). The Finesse Pelton Door Knob uses a graceful sphere design mounted onto a wide Jesmond style rectangular backplate with a fixing hole in each corner for easy and secure woodscrew fixing. However, the Pelton door knob is slightly smaller than the Beamish door knob, which means it is easier to grip and operate, and is better for use on narrow door stiles.
