This simple Push Bar Latch uses a small push pad  instead of the usual long bar and latches into the side of the door frame instead of into the top and bottom. Exidor 297 Push Bar Latch. FIXINGS:  Surface mounted with full instructions and templates supplied with each unit. Supplied in SINGLES complete with Fixings. Supplied with an adapter for operating with an additional rim cylinder. Non-handed, fire rated and surface mounted for use on Timber & Steel doors.
