Tested to BS12209 - CE & Fire Rated FD30/60 suitable for internal fire doors, with a 5 Year mechanical warranty. An upright Latch is housed in a square or rectangular casing, rather than a tube. Square forend and strike plate, available with radius edge in various sizes. One of the most common application for an upright latch is in situations when door manufacturers will use a single lock jig to cut uniform size cutout across their doors, for both locks and latches, for speed and non-complication purposes.
