The Mortice Plate is the most common type of plate, used on standard casement windows where the fastener 'tongue' can latch into the frame. The Locking version of this window handle locks by way of a subtle lug with a slot for an Allen key. The Croft Hardware Monkeytail Casement Fastener is a beautifully hand-finished casement fastener for casement windows. The Hook Plate is for use on 'flush' casement windows, where it is not possible to use the frame for the fastener to hold the window closed. This casement window fastener is available in both Locking and Non-Locking variations. Supplied in SINGLES complete with fixings. This window uses a traditional 'monkeytail' curved handle, sometimes referred to as a 'rat tail fastener'.
