The application of a light wax after cleaning can be beneficial but is not essential. The Cardea Polished Nickel finish is a solid brass plating and will generally require little maintenance as nickel is a relatively slow ageing metal. A row of these nickel hat and robe hooks along a wall or on a piece of wood to create a hook rack would look stylish whilst also holding multiple items of clothing that you want up off of the floor and stored away to keep cloakrooms, hallways, bathrooms and and bedrooms neat and tidy. The Cardea Polished Nickel Double Coat Hook has a classical shape with a rounded backplate that has two visible screws for easy, quick and secure installation. To maintain the finish we recommend wiping the item with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dirt deposits and polishing with a good quality metal polish. Their Polished Nickel Collection includes cupboard knobs and handles, window fittings and other door ironmongery for a fully incorporated look around the home. We do NOT recommend the use of liquid polishes that will leave a residue.
