The copper/zinc mix will pass for "old-time brass" reflecting the colours all around on its glorious golden surface. If the product is used outside it will oxidize and tarnish well. As the door opens the hook is pushed up and then latches itself back down and into place. Supplied complete with screws. A beautifully simple unlacquered brass auto door catch, the hook plate is mounted to the wall and the catch plate is mounted to the inside of the door. Made from a copper/zinc mix that ensures quality.
