The Queen Victoria Hospital Phase One contract involved the development of six new operating theatres and associated recovery areas at the specialist surgical hospital. This is a single storey building with a large plant room located on top of a composite roof deck. The O’Dwyer Steel Team was responsible for the structural steel detailing and steel fabrication on this contract with the aim to maintain a high standard of workmanship to increase erection speed and reduce cost.
